Graduate Admissions
Admission Requirements
Master’s Degree Admission
To apply for one of our Master’s programs, applicants must submit an official transcript from a college or university, secular or Christian, showing completion of a Bachelor’s degree (minimum of 120 credit hours) with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Degrees from verifiable Bible colleges are also welcomed and accepted.
Doctoral Admission
Applicants to our doctoral programs must submit a transcript from a secular institution, Christian college, or verifiable Bible college demonstrating completion of a Master’s degree in Theology, Ministry, or a closely related field, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
If your Master’s degree is not in a religious or ministry-focused discipline, we encourage you to begin with one of our Master’s programs to establish the academic foundation needed for successful doctoral study. If you believe your secular degree could be appropriate for your chosen degree path, talk with an advisor who will inform the admissions commitee on your request.

Transfer Students
Queens College of Theology welcomes transfer students from all accredited and verifiable Christian colleges. Students who wish to transfer credits must work with an academic advisor once they are admitted to start their evaluation process.
Students must arrange for an official copy of their transcript to be emailed directly to the Admissions Committee. Once received, a committee member will be assigned to review and evaluate the completed coursework.
Credits will be considered for transfer if they closely align with required courses at Queens College of Theology and meet acceptable academic standards per our credit transfer policy. The Admissions Committee will make the final determination regarding transfer eligibility.
To finalize approved transfer credits, the student must request an invoice for the number of eligible credits they wish to transfer. Once payment is received, the Admissions Committee will apply the approved transfer credits to the student’s academic record at Queens College of Theology. Please review our transfer policies in more detail here.
