Transfer Students

No matter where you’re transferring from, Queens College of Theology provides a straightforward transfer process that helps you take the next step from turning your calling into action and launching your academic journey.

Get Credit for What You Bring to the Table

At Queens College of Theology, we honor the work you’ve already done. Your previously earned college credits can help move you forward, saving you time and allowing you to focus on what matters most: growing into your calling.

Once you are admitted and your required down payment and fees have been paid, you may request an official transfer credit evaluation. This review helps determine which of your prior academic experiences may be applied toward your degree. From there, we’ll create a personalized course roadmap designed to guide you clearly and confidently all the way to graduation.

Transfer Credit Policy

All academic programs offered by Queens College of Theology are designed to prepare individuals for ministry and Christian vocations. These programs are not intended to advance careers in secular fields of employment. Under no circumstances should degree programs from Queens College of Theology be used to pursue state or federal licensure, or other secular certifications that require a degree accredited by the U.S. Department of Education.

Our mission is to equip students with the skills, formation, and credentials necessary to faithfully serve in ministry and related Christian callings.

Credits earned at Queens College of Theology may be accepted by other institutions—secular or religious—at the sole discretion of the receiving institution. Likewise, Queens College of Theology will consider transfer credits from accredited colleges or verifiable Christian institutions (such as Bible colleges or seminaries) if the credits are official, verifiable, and align with the coursework offered within our degree programs. Applicable transfer credits are assessed according to current tuition rates per credit hour.

Queens College of Theology is not responsible for the transfer or acceptance of credits by other institutions.

To support secure and verifiable transcript exchange, Queens College of Theology partners with Parchment.com, the official credential service used by many colleges and universities nationwide. Through Parchment, we are able to both send official QCT transcripts and receive official transcripts from other institutions.

Each degree program allows a specific maximum number of transfer credits. Please refer to the transfer credit chart program-specific limits.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

You ask, we answer

What if I can't afford to pay my transfer credits at once?

Transfer credits are officially added to your transcript once payment is received and approved by the Registrar. Because credits are applied immediately upon authorization, payment plans are not available for transfer credits. If full payment is not completed, the credits cannot be posted to your academic record.

We also understand that financial situations vary. Transfer credit adjustments may be available, and we encourage you to speak with your academic advisor. They’re happy to review your circumstances with you and help determine whether an adjustment option may apply.
